Why do women see themselves in the stories of men, but men don’t see themselves in the stories of women?!
We are a student filmmaker team that sets out to change that by making the first episode of the series “Climacteria” – a student film in development at the German Film- and TV Academy Berlin (DFFB).
SANDRA, 50 YEARS OLD, SUCCUMBS TO THE PRESSURES OF AGEING AND UNDERGOES RADICAL PLASTIC SURGERY. THE SURGERY FAILS AND SANDRA BEGINS A NEW JOURNEY.
Help us retell the taboo of menopause as a supernatural transformation and adventure story: featuring a new heroine accessible to humans of all genders and ages.
We are looking for someone to tag along on our journey as a MAKE-UP ARTIST who wants to work with our stellar cast and create the retro-Sci-Fi world stuffed with beauty ideals!
Since we are an underfunded student production, we can’t offer payment. You’d be working as a volunteer / Ehrenamtlich*er, just like everyone else on the shooting team. But we hope you can benefit from the project in other ways: let us know in what way that could be!
